Perfectly executed box out

“Hey, you all want to watch this basketball game?”

The game on the television is Iowa and South Carolina. It’s a for all the marbles game. Everyone is watching, but not my kids. My kids are building a box fort.

“Pretty exciting stuff happening here!” Caitlin Clark is on her way to eighteen first quarter points.

“Do we have any tape, Dad? We need to reinforce the boxes.”

They would finish their box fort by halftime, but by then, they wanted to go visit the playground. The older one rode her bike. The younger one ran beside and behind her. I carried a wrench in case the training wheels needed adjusting.
